Folio 1 plan
Intention:
Both my folio 1 and folio 2 will related to a 2D match 3 game which I started design in holiday. It isn’t a traditional match 3 game but has a battle system and rogue like element. This game is designed as a completely individual game, so it is impossible to finish even in 2 years. What I want to do is break up the whole project into different fields and finish them part by part. And in my folio 1 of AGI Studio 1 is about character animation and a prototype of game.
Field:
As mentioned before I will work on 2 fields – Character animation and Game programming. For the character animation I may try to reference the boss styles from The binding of Isaac.
Method:
I will spend a week on programming the battle system so that I will know what type of artwork I need. Then I will use the rest 2 weeks on game play design and try to draw a monster with 3-4 actions. I will draw the monster and some of UI during Monday to Thursday in Studio and program after I backed home.
Production:
I will use Photoshop to draw monsters and Unity to develop the game. I will finish the game programming work before the end of week 3 and start drawing immediately after that.
Work 1: Hunie pop
Hunie pop limits the times of moving rather than time.
Every symbol presents an emotion and girls have different like/dislike emotions. Player have to match the emotion their target prefers and avoid matching broken-heart symbol which hurts target.
