During the week, the code was still unresolved but still needed to be continued, so it was back to the simple model interface from before. but will finish recompiling the code and showing the full functionality later.
This week’s IOL request was for me to do a still and pause design through a piece of produced content. During my research in Week 7, I realized that a single static shot cannot express the characteristics of the image, so this week I will consider how to make novel content by switching between motion and static. But what if we considered combining it with stills? Is it possible to complete the camera by pushing itself through the code auto-completion?
For example, in Red Dead Redemption 2 (Rockstar Games 2018), which is related to my production this week, when the player goes to a faraway place in the main quest, the camera pulls away and starts playing the open cinematic animation. I find that it’s unappropriate to play ambient sounds when pulling away from the camera. It should play background music that fits the game’s particular accentuated atmosphere for my s3 project, which is a narrative puzzle game with a detective theme. So a little bit of crime-solving atmosphere I found the sound material on the freesound website. When pulled far enough and fast enough, it can even have the effect of time travel.
Method: Switch between static and dynamic by disabling and starting the already edited code.
After disabling and starting the code, the camera will instantly return to its intended position, and there is no slow process of pushing the camera, but the process of switching and adjusting the basic properties of the camera still finds very interesting phenomena. Through the field of view settings in the running process, you can create a scene similar to what happens when the universe travels through
Although the basic idea at the beginning did not succeed, by setting the basic properties of the camera, it also produced something interesting. After this incident, I realized that I should not ignore the study of the basic properties, which in the camera is an integral part.
