The IOL of the Week requirement requires multiple iterations through the research project. In fact I've been iterating on the camera control mode since I made the new scene.
First of all, in the previous research I found that the player click on the ground to control the movement is not suitable for the camera control at the same time, easy to cause the player to operate burden.
Secondly, the mouse button click to control the perspective is not natural, should be changed to achieve a way to switch the perspective.
Finally, the camera automatically change the distance of the effect.
Purpose: recompile the code to achieve the joystick control or through the third-person control and cinemachine to achieve
Optimize the camera and game controls to achieve the purpose of allowing the player to use the camera as a real observation medium. (and ambient sound can be heard more clearly when pausing without footsteps.)
The camera can also automatically shake as you walk, with the amount of shake determined by the slope and step length. Through the environment and audio looks more realistic.
Approach: recompile the code for joystick control or use third-person controls and cinemachine
Result: The compiled part of the code basically achieved the design goal, but the shortcoming is that the 360-degree surround function was abandoned, and the lack of mastery of cinemachine caused the camera to switch the movie perspective function was not achieved.
Reflection: Although the code to achieve the function of adaptive camera shooting distance but in order to pursue the real perspective also sacrificed the 360 surround adjustable camera design, and then the subsequent iterations to consider adding multiple cameras to assist the main perspective of the way to restore the function.
