Aim:
Figuring out how to manually animate cloth simulation without the use of Wind simulation too much. Since cloth interacts with wind simulation, it can take up a lot of time to render as well as figuring out the exact numbers of strength of the wind and placement and etc.
Method:
Blender
Result:
I realised mid-way while I was animating a cloth to move to a certain path, that there would be an easier way for me to do it rather than just using wind simulation all the way. Since wind simulation and turbulence is hard to figure out (and eats up a lot of memory), I realised that there is an easier way. Creating a curved path and parenting the cloth to the curved path to manually animate it.
My assumption throughout the whole project was to just create all animation through wind simulation, but using curved path and parenting the cloth without actually having to use any wind simulation gives me a better chance to finish the project faster and more efficient.
