Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

RATIONALE
After the presentations, I felt like the project has a lot of potential but the way I was developing it wasn’t enough, so I made some changes in the general idea, to develop during Studio 3.

I imagine a closed and dark space, it doesn’t need to be very big, but with enough space to hang the physical piece which will have 150x150 cms, and to install 3 projectors.
In the main wall, will be the papercut human heart, holding in the biggest wall of the room  and it will have the main animation projected. The animation will consist in the physical changes of the heart, that will be caused by words that the audience will be able to mention on a microphone. There  will be a microphone in the middle of the area where the audience will be invited to say one word of a list of 5 positive words and 5 negative words, and depending in the sum of 10 responses, the heart will look strong and alive or weak and dead.
The rest of the wall will have animations that represents the actions that the people is choosing, and it will look like the feelings surrounding the heart.

METHOD
During the workshop, I used Zbrush to make the prototype of the 3D model, Blender for adding textures and animating, Photoshop to give contrast to the texture and for the sketches.

CONTEXT
In Stockholm, there was this art exhibition about feelings where everything that the people were seeing where about their personal emotions. https://www.emotionalartgallery.com
I find it very interesting because it shows the reality of how unhappy is the people in the city, and it made me even think of ideas for some interactivity like making the 3D human heart react to our real heartbeats, but I need to research before adding more details to the project.
