After talking with Chris, Kate and Mattew, I have decided that I'll do a mix between reality and fantasy, so for day five I have been working on the details of the figure of the heart.
In addition, I have been thinking about a simple loop animation about the heart moving normal and in the end, something surprising happens.
RATIONALE
Even though I have decided I will mix reality with fantasy, It's very important that the heart looks realistic to achieve a connection with the audience, make them feel like this is their own heart.
The quick sketches that I made were thinking about negativity "covering" the heart, like making an influence on it.
CONTEXT
I have mentioned before, but this is the best example of a realistic 3D human heart: https://www.turbosquid.com/es/3d-models/3d-human-heart-anatomy-model-1283134 It has helped me a lot to see the details in every part of the human heart.
METHODS
For the details in the main figure, I am doing the model in Zbrush, but I used Blender to organize some holes in the Tubes with-extrude-.
For the quick sketch I used photoshop, and for the textures, I will use blender to create a UV object.
OUTCOMES
One digital human heart
REFLECTION
Even though it takes me a long time in making the shape and details I want, what worries me the most is to not be able to get to peoples hearts, so in every part of the process today, my mind was only thinking about what happens when the heart is damage? Does it get sad, small, and dark or does it get all on fire, full of anger? How can I really create the experience?
About the progress until today, I'm very happy with it. I can see the advance that I have made modeling in Zbrush. Now is time for the texture, light, and animation.
