WIP - Music Syncing

Using the song 'Cha Cha' by Freddie Dredd, I am currently practicing animating to sound and music by creating a dancing character. My ultimate intention is to distort and edit the video to be colourful, abstracted and psychedelic.

Something that I have employed here in my sequence is creating a looping sequence out of about 8 frames (15fps) for the basic dance movement, and then looping it for up to 10-15 seconds. In doing so, I am finding new ways to create movement that goes for an extended time as opposed to torturing myself frame by frame. Working out the timing and syncing the character's movement took the longest in this whole process, by trying to work out how to use Adobe Animate's sound editing to sync to the beat.

I have used Pose to Pose to animate this, starting with the line of action and very loose sketches, then used another layer to flesh out the figure.
