It's week 1 and I already feel overwhelmed by all the tasks ahead of me in studio 2. I decided to set myself up for success by stretching my animation skills, and so created this short clip.
I was inspired partly by our APD premises of exploration, tinkering and playfulness, and thought 'hey wouldn't it be funny if instead of people crying when they cut onions, what if an onion cut people and cried.'
This was inspired by a meme I saw years ago of an onion doing exactly this. Unfortunately, the artist is unknown, but the image was seared into my brain till this day when my gif was conceived.
