Title: Exploring puzzle game with mobile Augmented Reality
I need to put some words to make the title clearly, so I just think about the idea of my research.
There is the list:
Abstract
mobile puzzle games are popular; example Tetris (mobile) - 100 million downloads between 2005 to 2010 on mobile phones.
David and Richard claims that the existing mobile puzzle games haven’t take the advantage of mobile devices (2013, p,1); existing mobile puzzle games do not use full mobile phone capabilities, many of them only use touchscreen - tap screen to activate button, tap and drag to slide object; phones have gyro, accelerometers. The all capabilities work together and become Augmented Reality(AR).
In 2017, Apple provides a new AR plugin ARKit for Apple mobile devices. Those functions could help mobile puzzle games have more interaction/different experience in real world.
