WEEK 8 Rules and Forces

In response to the theme of Rules and Forces, I made a illustration of snow mountain landscape, guided by the rules of:
1. Practice on drawoing landscape or background only
2. Use not more than 3 colours
3. Use impasto style only.
.I made this illustration using Easy Paint Tool SAI and photoshop. By appling the limitation of rules I further practiced about drawing landscapes which I was not good at. Similar work has been produced by Whitney Knapp Bowditch, whose work Impasto Mountain Painting explores this theme of using impasto style to draw snow mountain.
