Context
Chalo Chalo is a three player racing game - gameplay (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ITRrTKmqhI)
My test is a multiplayer racing game. Each player choose a triangle which control by two keys. The speed of movement depend on how fast the player press two keys alternately. The one who first run through the red line will win the game.
Method
Hizi helps me with the coding part of the game. The acceleration and deceleration is in a range of values. The acceleration only happens when two defined key pressed alternately. Theoretically, the maximum of the player numbers would be the half numbers of the keys.
Response
The race was interesting, although it was just a very simple game. And I wrongly estimated the maximum player numbers. It seems not comfortable that 7 players crowded in front of one keyboard. Taking this as experience, it would be good to consider more about player next time. It was interring to see the player have their own thoughts of own game. Someone would love to participate in this kind of multiplayer game, while others might refuse. Some tester would player second round after they finish the their race (Two triangle are unassigned). Some may not mind the result of the game.
