This week's studio progress, I focused more on learning and creating textures.
Over these past few weeks, I've been taking my time to learn more about the fundamentals of 3D modelling and animation itself. Since I want to succeed in visual effects, I took the opportunity to explore and learn about creating a texture from scratch and using an image as a texture (which is simpler).
This progress shows that I experimented and created a boulder by modelling it using modifiers and adding rock image texture to it. This method is very well known and used by a lot of VFX artists, by using image texture with individual UV mapping image texture as well.
