IOL_S1_2021 Week 2 Loops, cycles, repetition

Aim:

Based on my studio project, I try to represent thoughts of people, their change of mood, and some cryptic expression. In this case, I’m trying to express human ego, id and superego based on Sigmund Freud’s study of the human spirit.

Method: 

-Krita

-I connect ‘point, line, surface’ with ‘Id, Ego, Superego’ which represents a person’s existence in this world, which makes me explore more on abstraction and meaning behind design.

Reflection:

Although this is the first time for me to use Krita making animation, I still find joy within it, it is worth mentioning that it stimulate drawing on the hand-draw animation desk which is quite interesting and make me feel the way of traditional painting.
