RATIONALE – why are you doing what you are doing?
I need to make a pure 2D animation as an opening to explain clearly that my main part is a dream of this main character about an ancient poem. So this week I chose to make a beginning animation to combine 2D and 3D to make him look more make sense.

Also I want to add two ducks in the animation, because when I went to the location again, I saw many newborn ducklings swimming in the lotus pond, which is very cute, so this week I want to add another pair of ducklings.

CONTEXT – who else is doing what you are doing?

In my project, the story starts with a boy who falls asleep while reading an ancient poem and dreams a series of ancient poem scenes appearing in real life. There are many such cartoons in China to explain ancient poems to young children, but they do not appear in the real world. (This is one of the animations explaining the poems, telling the meaning of the verses roughly, the sight of a white goose swimming on the water. METHODS – how will you do what you are doing?
I will use Toonboom to create the opening animation, a brief introduction to how the dream begins.

Still using procreate to make the design board for the ducks.

OUTCOMES – what are the tangible objects that must be made to articulate success?
