Question :
How to use exaggerated shape and colour to create emotional experiences in morphing animation.
Rationale:
There are many ways of expressing the numerous experience in the mental and sipritual plane through abstract animation. Abstract animation doesn't have content limitation. They rely on the unique qualities of motion, rhythm, light and composition inherent in the technical medium of cinema to create emotional experiences. In this project, I am going to explore how to use exaggerated shape and colour to create emotional experiences and the 'Abstract' in this context, includes non-objective.
Thesis:
Nowadays, people get body modification for many personal reasons. One of them is aesthetic purpose (need) or physical vanity. My thesis is are the people who get the body modifications because they imagine themselves through others perspective.
Motivation:
I am interested in the creation and development of body modification. For some long-term cultural body modification in the past, like foot binding. We don’t know how to appreciate it. Now, body/surface piercing or tattoo is popular. Different from past, people have choice to get the body modification or not. I wonder why still lots of people want to do extreme body modification.
