After working on several prototypes over weeks. The previous prototypes are not working very well and some playtester found them not interesting to play. Considering the feedback from the playtesters on the previous prototypes. I've come up with the current prototype.

In the previous prototypes, the imbalance between the two players makes the games not fun to play. Therefore, I tried to make the two players do the same thing in this new prototype. In this prototype, the two players collect cherries/ gems to get a higher score over each other within a given period of time.

There are some platforms like a see-saw where players cannot stay on them for a long time as well as some randomly appear and disappear platforms.

Playtesting feedback:

  • Quite interesting
  • take some time to adapt to the control of character movements
  • can introduce some mechanics to cause more conflict between the two players
