Based on week 1, I thinking more about my project.

Rational

based on my mind map, I decide the theme of my studio 2’s work. It was about a fish man catching a “fish”, but this “fish” was not a real fish, it like the liquid, and could became any shapes. The fish man trying lots of ways to catch it. but in the end, it turn to a group of winged insect, then disappear. It would have 2-3 characters (fish man, “fish”, birds).

In my studio 1, I was focus on some steady motion. Also I did not using any shape or colour in my work, everything was line drawing. I think the outcome in the studio 1 was not enough.so different with my studio 1’s work,in this semester, I want make some activity characters in this project.I would put the motion and the visual effects at first, and the story will be simple.

key words were be“catch”, “liquid”
Motivation: visual effect

Context

My own painting and draft: the original ideas was come from my daily sketch, I adjust something.

The animate :

1.”The Tale of the Princess Kaguya” (2d animation) :it was about a Japanese legend. This work’s visual style was very like watercolour, and I think the line using in this work also worth learning.

2.“black,white and inner” (motion graphic) : this work was a motion graphic, it have a very contrast visual effect. Author use flip, black and white shape to express the topic. The way of it using shape and voice was worth learning.
