I wanted to better portray the “battle” the character has with the background or the objects it generates for a more conflicting atmosphere. If in previous scenes the action was instigated by the character after he pulled the objects from the wall, it has now transitioned where the wall straight up attacks first. I’ve also made sure this slight shift in power took place after the character entered the black area to give more balance to the whole canvas. It also suggests that after he entered an unfamiliar zone, his hierarchy took a turn. I try to employ this idea even further by transforming his figure into a less stringent body that has no real structure or center. A body resembling a balloon filled with water that could pop at any moment.
