This week was dedicated to animating the helix scene.
I wasn't sure in how to pursue the helix scene because it was quite difficult to animate a whole particle simulation as a helix considering that the particle simulation is a separate simulation and it couldn't easily be formed into a helix. So instead, I created two duplicates of the sphere as a "leader" of the swarm of particles and created a path to form a helix that flies around the white room. It turned out pretty well and it also creates a "character" for the film.
I experimented a lot with curve path in blender, but it didnt give me much control of the movement of the spheres. Instead of using curve bezier path, I used a straight follow path that I can curve on my own by extruding the lines and form a helix manually. Because of that, the spheres can move perfectly.
