Sketching and Concept:

There are a few key questions about the project after a brief conversation with Jadd.

  • How do you visualise a wind current

  • How do you determine that it's a specific type of season and how can the viewers see it?

  • How can I make the viewers understand my concept.

I pondered the questions and realised that there are various ways of visualising a concept.

The idea for this project was to create a particle simulation where it visualises each season's wind current. The plan was to use colours and sound for it.

But as I went through more research, there are quite a few ideas on how I would fully visualise the concept:

  • Using diegetic sound to display a seasons (e.g winter: snowy and strong wind)

  • Using colours and visual cues on the particles (e.g winter: blue)

  • Animating the particle by forming a symbol of a season before it turns into a wind current

(e.g Spring: A tulip on the first few frames and the tulip decimate into particles)

  • Creating a visual background while the particle animates. (e.g winter: snowy outdoors)

I've also made some rough illustration on how the particles would look like in a room. My only concern right now is whether if I want to *actually* make it in the room or create a visual atmosphere.

More thought about this ideas are needed.

Wind current:

According to Kayak Training Australia, each seasons does have a specific wind current. However, different countries have a different current, so I'll be using Australia's wind current according to each seasons.

Summer : Calm to no wind

Fall : High wind tends to get lighter

Winter : Stronger wind

Spring : A slow breeze
