I've been using the 200 Drawings exercise to explore potential ideas and story themes for my minor project.
Lately, I've been especially interested in narratives that use real-world websites as part of their storytelling medium (such as Alternate Reality Games and interactive YouTube videos), as well as stories about terrible vacations and monsters. Doodling like this helps me churn out a lot of ideas for ways to combine an odd medium with an odd story.
