KYLO II is a colour photography series by Nicolas Arnold. By mixing acrylic paint and high-speed capturing camera, Nicolas has created a series of mysterious photographs with highly expressive colour movement. 

The artist has created a gloomy and evil atmosphere by focusing on using dark paint and directing their movements at a defined speed. The work has been one of a kind in photography industry based on its crafting and creating method.

What inspired me the most about this project is the traditional way of crafting. The sceneries are established with physics in reality instead of using 3D modelling or animating techinique, but yet it has created fantastic work with the random and uncontrollable movement of the liquid paint. 

It is a reminder for me that not everything needs to be carefully planned and executed, and sometimes the happy incidents can create unexpected but also satisfying results.
