Studio 1_Week3_Related Work_Transitions 
This week I am trying to do a story about the character can attend different places. One day he shows up in two different events, like a parallel universe scene of wedding and funeral, then I talk with Kate about the idea. She gives me a suggestion of researching the transitions of Satoshi Kon. Who is good at creating how people cope with living multiple lives. I have to say it is such a surprise and inspiring research that I have done. I saw lots of movies or videos that contain plenty of amazing transition, which I like. However, I never know all the amazing transitions are created by Satoshi Kon. He is a true master and has a deep impact on the development of cinematic scenes. Here are some transitions summarized from his works. (Perfect Blue, Ohayou, Paprika)

•     Rewind the film
•    Cross the line into a new scene
•    Zoom out from a tv
•   Use black frames to jump cut
•   Use objects to wipe the frame
•  Matching scene transition

1.   General match cut
2.   Exact graphic match
3.   Intercutting two different periods, which mirror each other.
