This week, I set about experimenting more with assets and the terrain editor plugin to create a small scene. After importing new assets and iterating over the design for hours, including tweaking environmental details such as fog, ambient light, and skyboxes, I was surprised again to find myself creating a rather ominous scene. This was compounded greatly after importing a grass model (incorrectly) that was several orders of magnitude too big - so vast in fact that it looked more like a lovecraftian monster. I jumped on this opportunity and continued to make my scene as sinister as possible. The attached video shows a timelapse of most of my process. I also edited the final screenshot in Gimp to tweak the colours and contrast.
