This week was focused on animation tests, I began work on a loose test shot, which would be the opening shot of my short film.
Before I began animation, I read up on timing for animation, and am focusing on learning how timing charts work, that way the animation in my film can look a lot smoother and consistant. This short, roughed out animation is pose-to-pose focused. I will be moving ahead with more stylised and abstract animation in the next test I work on.
For this test, I animated in TV Paint, working in a mostly keyframe-to-keyframe animation style. The finished work-in-progress can be seen nearing the end of the short speed-art video I've attached. I will be exploring more textured linework in the coming weeks to attempt to find a solid line-art style for my work.
As I was learning timing, these are some video's that I studied:

"The art of inbetweening" - https://youtu.be/86tqKH3zxuM
