TeamLab
TeamLab is a collective gallery of artists, programmers, engineers, animators, architects, and mathematicians in Japan that explore the concept of interactive light sculptures and how technology can affect light as a physical piece. The art pieces within the massive gallery range from interactive to independent. Some pieces require audience participation while others develop their own footing over time while some are even programmed to eventually mesh into other pieces to create their own unique artwork. TeamLab has helped solidify the use of technology and how it can help redevelop the way we view things such as art.
Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training
Brain Training is a mini-game based series that is designed to help stimulate your brain and help track functionality in a minimal and entertaining form. Everyday, you complete a series of different mini-games which go towards an overall profile. This profile helps the games algorithm determine the estimated age of your brain and provides exercises to maintain progress. Although the game makers do not claim that the game is scientifically proven to improve cognitive functionality, it is safe to say that due to projects as this, researchers are more willing to dig deeper into whether or not something like this could be possible in the future.
