Happiness

happiness is a 2d animation that explores whether people are really happy in modern society

The movie uses mice as the protagonist. The mice are busy all day long. They only kill to be able to buy “happiness”, but they do n’t realize that the more they buy, the more they want, the “happiness” obtained through alcohol and medicine cannot last. In a huge society, only suffering is permanent.

As a 2d animation, the transition between the lens is very clever in my opinion, does not require many frames, but can express a lot of details.

Fez

fez is a pixel-style platform jumping game, an adventure story of a 2d villain with a Turkish felt hat in the 3d world.

The game takes full advantage of the characteristics of the 2d scene in the 3d world to design levels. The core of the game is collection and exploration, which can attract people to continuously collect various items in the game, and also allow some people to simply enjoy the scenery.

I really like the style of fez's game, the style is very fresh and simple, and the gameplay of fez is relatively free, allowing players to try a lot of interesting gameplay.

Paperman

Paperman is a black and white animated short film that won the Academy Award for the best animated short film. It combines traditional animation with 3d animation.

In the short film, the male lead folded many paper planes to attract the female lead's attention, but all failed. Of course, the process of pursuing love is tortuous, but the ending is still beautiful.

I really like the black and white style of the film, especially the only bright colour at the beginning of the story is the colour of the female lead lipstick.
