Work: "How I made a 2d prototype in different game engines" - by M.S. Farzan
https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/how-i-made-a-2d-prototype-in-different-game-engines/

1) Farzan created a 2D prototype of the same game in different popular game engines: React, Unity, Godot, Construct, GameMaker, and Phaser, then wrote a post about his findings.

2) Farzan notes his likes and dislikes of each engine, including ease of use, documentation and tutorials, ease of use, language preference, and pricing – finally, he concludes which game engine he will continue to use for his prototype (Phaser 3).

3) Farzan provides a useful overview of many different game engines, which is helpful for developers when considering choosing their own engine to work with. Furthermore, by building the same prototype in each engine, Farzan shows that it is useful to simply jump in and experiment with engines rather than weighing pros and cons and picking one before using them, since different engines may be more suitable for different games.
