The particle system is a technique of 3D modelling in various 3d programming. In Blender, it is a combination of many objects that are emitted from a mesh called an emitter. I have been using particles a lot throughout my folio project to create visual effects to enhance the mood of the story. Starting from creating force fields sparks to dust flying around a desert.
Particle effects are explained further by DUCKY 3D, where he simulates a particle effect using only UV spheres and emission to create a science-fiction-like particle effects. Force field such as turbulence, vortex, and wind is also used in his video to create specific movements for the particle in order to create realism.
This week, I’ve been exploring and experimenting particle system to create various effects for my folio project.
