I presented two presentations to the City of Moreland Council, Kiri Delly (RMIT representative for the Brunswick Design District) and Dr. Troy Innocent on 23 March 2020 - the overarching theme of the project for the whole group, and my own individual project.
This is the second presentation for my individual project: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13dN2PKQvZpQT6BaVFd4kqQzjZg-rkNZc/view?usp=sharing

Tree Weaver (tentative title) is an installation as part of the Playable City Brunswick project. There are two parts to Tree Weaver:
Tree Weaver will be located at RMIT Brunswick Campus, the start of the walking trail of Playable City Brunswick in the Weaving section.
There are various reasons for this. Firstly, the campus itself offered a much more quiet, contemplative experience with its abundance of trees, greenery and natural spaces. My impressions of the site was at dusk, when the environment was filled with birdsong as the birds returned home to the trees. Secondly, Brunswick campus already has strong ties with the fashion and textiles industry, with an internationally renowned fashion program for students. Thirdly, sewing and textiles plays a huge part in Brunswick's history as one of the chief manufacturing suburbs of the state.
