Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

After testing the projection mapping of the 3D animation over the papercut, and after the lasts feedbacks, I have been working on a new approach for the interactivity, and I won't be using the heart's papercut.

The experience will last 2 minutes, where from 3 to 5 people from the audience at the time, will go inside a dark room with red led light. In the back, there will be a table which will have some objects, such as lighter, scissors, paint, and water, and two recipients; one with water and the other empty.

For sound, it will be a heartbeat that will start calm, but once the experience begins, it will go faster when the time is ending.

Each person will take one of the different types of flowers. The goal is that they will choose one object from the table, interact with it and the plant for one minute, and then decide in which basket to place it.
After 1 minute, the red lights will turn off. The animation of the human heart will appear and react positively or negatively, depending on the number of flowers that weren't damaged and were placed in the positive basket.

(I was thinking about using ropes for the interactive part, where the audience was going to be able to hold the flowers, but then I thought it might be too similar to Helen's work, so I changed for a couple of baskets; one will have water with paint and will represent the negative action, the other will have some sticks where the people can put the flower to create the interaction and make the 3D human heart react)

CONTEXT

Marina Abramovic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTBkbseXfOQ
This performance is one of my favorites performs of Marina Abramovick because it shows how far people can go without thinking about who they are hurting. It reflects the sweetness and the cruelty of humans, and that is what I am exploring in my installation.
What is it that inside us that makes us choose to hurt someone people and then look for trust in others?

Meow Wolf creates immersive and interactive experiences that transport audiences of all ages into exploration through art installations, video and music production, and extended reality content. It is about solving mysteries and being part of the art.
Meow wolf, is one of my primary references because, as they, I believe that art has the power to change the world and transform minds. And that is exactly what I am trying to do. To offer an experience were people can explore how with their actions, the animation will change.

James Turrell - Light artist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVoMJHSNyI0
In James Turrel's artworks, the light is a powerful material to create an atmosphere and orient the audience to perception, to meditate.
His art inspires me because even though the light won't be the main element in my installation, it will be crucial to emphasize the mood and the feelings of the heartbeat.
