In response to the theme of Time I created a short film exploring a google sheets document that was once host to an online party. By cutting between various scenes I hope to capture the sense that this party has been condensed and captured into a single moment. Every conversation that occurred and every game that was played has been perfectly preserved to be freely observed in a non-linear fashion.
The original party was inspired by Marie Foulston's blog that gave live updates of her own google sheets party throughout the evening https://onezero.medium.com/party-in-a-shared-google-doc-d576c565706e. Similar work has been produced with Thinkers and Wanderers by Daum Park (https://itsnemo.itch.io/thinkers-and-wanderers) that allows the player to explore a persistence space that grows with messages left behind by the players that came before you.
