Another avenue of movement that I tested in terms of how I could allow the user to move in mobile VR.

Using the reticle, the user looks at the floating cube in front of them and moves in that direction.

This is a rather restrictive form of movement but is something I could use to force the user to look or move depending on what I want them to see.
