First meeting advancement.
WHAT is your practice, what are your interests?
I want to make a game, using interactivity as a means to make my stories have more impact.
Worked in multidisciplinary projects tackling social issues.
Been through the education and communication sectors.
Interested in simulation games.
Games with social issues at topic.
WHO else is doing the things you're interested in?
Games for change, and many other companies which don’t have much reach to a large audience yet.
WHO has made things like this? How has this practitioner’s work influenced your practice?
Many artists have developed indie games addressing social issues, I am interested in games that freely represent other kind of narratives, without being restricted by the marketing approach, who portray LGBT rights or characters, not for the sake of it but as a part of a larger narrative and this has influenced me into wanting to make my own, or want to see them in a regular basis.
HOW will you focus your interests and influences through practice? What ideas/questions are engaging with?
How to tackle social issues through games, which social issues are more present in society nowadays, what kind of game and what style should be used in order to reach a wider audience.
What kind of audience do I want to reach and why?
What issue do I want to tackle?
Try to present these ideas as a mood board to articulate your interest in a collage of images.

Project Statement:
Why (intention)
The industry of videogames has a large tendency to overlook social issues and make them a normality in the most sold games, generating unethical behaviour from players online, and leaving the minorities unrepresented or feeling left out, trying to do things that will appeal the mainstream audience, leaving aside the educational potential for games or free expression and diversity of ideas.
How (method),
By creating an interactive narrative that addresses a particular social issue, through drafts, mood board, references of similar games or topics done in the past I will create a concept that appeals an underrepresented audience.
What (outcome)
Finish a rough draft, character, concept and synopses for the game, define the mechanics.
