Cao Hong Ly's comic
This is a funny two-panel comic from Cao Hong Ly. Aside from black and white, the artist only uses blue for the entire illustration. Readers can still make out the details while the art maintains its own appeal. Fairly speaking, I have very limited color skills. This is actually one of the solutions I prepare for myself.
Sad illustration
Firstly, I cannot find the name of the original artist, my apology for that. The picture tells a story even though it is very simple in all aspects. The linework is simple. The art uses only 2 colors. How the perspective is also very interesting (and simple). This proves that illustrators don’t need to make it too fancy to make things work.
Cari Vander Yatch's illustration
A very beautiful art piece from Cari Vander Yacht. In this illustration, the artist uses shape as the primary tool. Unlike the art by Bao Viet, the shapes used in this art have more curves to them, which help create a softer feeling. There is also visibly no line used. In addition, the colors share a bright and cheerful feeling, which is quite ironic judging from the topic the art is used for.
