This is another work of the same artist. This time, he uses a vibrant and contrasting color palette. The character possesses the same appeal. She still has consistent linework and shading. I also love how the artist portrays the features of the character. The use of sharp shapes makes the art look modern and distinctive. Moreover, this illustration doesn’t have a fancy background. The purple color scheme contrasts very well with the green backdrop. Hopefully, I can create something on the same quality level.

This way, the cold colors still keep the spotlights and the hot ones can add to the attractiveness. There are times when the artist adds colors outside of the color pallete like green. Those additions feel like some nice touches to the illustration. Because of the use of colors, the sorrowful topic is portraited in a less heavy way.
