Context:
In this shot, the young woman saw a man with her back turned to her, thinking it was her lover, so she stepped forward to say hello, but left disappointed when she found out that she had admitted the wrong person.
In the initial test, I designed the character's movements as the woman gently pokes the man's back with her finger, and the man walks away after the woman realizes the wrong person (Picture1,2). But I felt that finger poking was too young and too lively, like a girl rather than a woman, so I changed it to slapping the man on the shoulder to make it look more mature. At the same time, considering the embarrassing scene of admitting the wrong person on the road under normal circumstances, most people will walk up to them in surprise, and walk away embarrassedly when they find the wrong person. So I added the action of the woman bowing her head and walking away to contrast with the cheerful pace ahead, showing the change in the character's mood from happiness to disappointment. (Picture3) Then I got feedback from Yee that she thought I should add some pauses to let the audience see what's going on, which I think makes a lot of sense, and I'll improve this in subsequent iterations.
