My partner is Nick who interested in video games, and he is good at creating funny games. We talked a lot of things about our work. Actually, Nick is a good person, he always work hard. He is creating a vedio game now, and he still work on the storytelling and world building. To be honest, because I donnot know much about making games, so I am little confusing about his work. I just create a little charactor for him by my hand. He said his game is about the universe, some aliens come from the black hole. I really enjoy his idea, meanwhile I think it is a potential story. 

Reflection

a) how did engaging with a real person change your direction?

It was a really good experience for me. When I present my idea, Nick is quick to give advice and understand what I mean. When he talks about his game, I imagine the effect of the whole game. I will think about how to implement the characters in the game in a short time.

b) what was it like showing unfinished work to another?

It's a crazy practice. I tried to imagine the character in my mind, and then made a game character for Nick with the most common materials. Although the final result is not very good, but it is very effective to achieve a role shaping.

c)how did the pace feel (quick iterative cycle)?

When we discussed the problem with each other, I misunderstood some ideas. I should think about his project for Nick, we are a little slow in the process. I don't seem to be giving much advice for Nick.

d)what stage would you re-visit (do next )?

I think I should talk to Nick more about his game making process. A better understanding contributes to the completion of the results.

e) what is one thing you want to try tomorrow?

I think I should study how to bring the role into the stock market better and make people believe it. The balance between the characters and the story is what I focus on.
