In the weekly exercises, my main purpose and the research direction of the exercises can be divided into three categories:
1.The movement of the character and environment props of each scene and how these movements interact with each other.
2.The movement of objects in the scene
3.The movement of the character in the scene.
In this week's exercise, I modified the motion state of the characters in some scenes, changing from frame animation to several keyframe poses controlled by transparency, making it more consistent with the relatively static feeling in the motion picture.
In terms of object motion, I refer to the World of Warcraft animated short called Warbringers: Azshara, which uses the animated storyboard and keyframes to create a relatively static yet dynamic fluency style movement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hndyTy3uiZM&t=233s
What needs to be iterated in the future is the sequence of motion states and rhythm changes in each part. For example, in my fourth scene, the action of monsters smashing glasses and characters jumping backward occurs at the same time, this can make the audience don't know where to look. In the future, it is necessary to modify the order of movement in each scene. https://youtu.be/nM2wl0nCawE
