Option B:
spend no more than 15 minutes thinking about a problem /impasse you have encountered you are engaging with in your IOL project this semester (could be conceptual, thematic, technical or other) .
-try to succinctly state the problem in one sentence
How to express heaviness?
-what assumptions are you making in your current approach to this problem?
-list them if you can.
Heavy characters cannot move fast because of their weight
-revisit your problem by deliberately one or more of these assumptions.
What if heavy characters could move really fast and even vanish?
-create a small piece of work/experiment reflecting this changed approach to the problem/issue.
reflection: In the end I use smear frame on the heavy character as he enter the frame. The use of smear frames breaks the assumption that bricks or heavy things moves slowly. When I use them wisely not excessively, the paradoxical movement actually looks whimsical and unexpected.
