Aim
I have been experimenting with ink-and-wash paintings in ps. In order to subvert this black-and-white, classical painting method, I tried to draw the character in pixel style, and simply added some colors, in anticipation of any surprises.
Method
I created a 128x128 pixel grid in PS and drew an orange kitten wearing a dark blue robe.
Discuss
Pixel rendering forces the artist to express details selectively. After ignoring some less important details, using the movement or expansion of one or two pixel blocks to express the artist's ideas, there are higher requirements for skills and thinking.
