Aim

Part of the assignment was for homework, whereby we could create a loopable animation we wanted using sounds we wanted. So I did!

I wanted to create a very cute, simple and lighthearted day/night cycle. I had a friend of mine make a little loopable track which lasts 4 seconds, and I made the animation go with it.

Rationale

I like sukus, they're cute.

Method

I used Clip Studio Paint to doodle a frame-by-frame animation. Some of the environment like trees are static, and I could get away drawing them only once. As for the rest, I wanted to have it very dynamic, so I created two frames per cycle for the characters, and 4 frames per cycle for the environment.

The animation goes at 8fps, each drawing lasts 3 frames, and each cycle lasts 2 seconds.

Outcome

Cute sukus. Couldn't ask for more, really.
