Aim
My aim this week was to use sound in a scene to convey a character's intention and emotions.
Method
I started this week by storyboarding and animating a scene idea before looking through the BBC sound library for sound to use. I downloaded a bunch of sounds that I felt might be useful before uploading them to audacity and seeing how they felt together with the scene. I then made multiple iterations of the sound for the scene, editing and adding sounds.
Result
Overall, I enjoyed the final product. I think the modern sounds with the historical setting is kind of fun, and I was thinking more about character intent then realism. I feel there should be some sound of relief/release at the end of the scene but I had trouble finding one. I'd also like to play around with the explosion a bit more, so it matches the animation better.
