Aim
This week I wanted to work on a simple jump motion to practice spacing.
Method
I animated a jump on ToonBoom with reference footage, then played around with the timing of it (mainly focussing on acceleration/deceleration). I then played with the form in my next iteration, before seeing fif I could apply the timing to a new perspective.

As a simple excercise in animating a jump, the first loop is quite successful. I felt my second experiment could've been pushed further, but I was more interested in the fun of my experiement in form. The third loop I think presents a really new interesting direction, taking inspiration from the movement of Ping Pong the Animation (2015). I think my jump needs a bit more refinement, but I like the direction of it.
