Adjective I chose: Powerless
Reflection:
I'm trying to make a piece running away from another powerful shape, but it cannot make it successful all the time, cause the world is unfair, some individuals are really vulnerable and powerless compare to those who have the power. This also links to my project which has the theme of controlling power and how to use the power. I really like this exercise because it make me familiar with Toonboom and also learn how to organise key frames. I have done some animation drawing frame by frame, but key frame make things easier and visually nicer.
Question:
- Can you identify elements of rhythm, timing or tempo that categorise either the animated components or another component of your developing project (eg narrative, gameplay etc.)?
In my opinion, timing is each point on every single timeline which before a sudden change; rhythm is the unequal fragments on the timeline(or say every piece of moment); and tempo is the overall speed of the work. Timing, rhythm and tempo is like "point, line, plain" which could construct a complete structure of a story, or a circuit.
For example, in this animation, keyframes are the timing, the length of each movement is the rhythm, and the running speed of the animation is the tempo.
