Although I did the same workshop in Studio 1, doing it again with different partner and better experience is significantly affect my thinking in the very first week of forming my idea for studio 3 work.

Start:

Based on the infomation I collected and analyzed from Amanda, I sketched 6 different Ideas to meet with her need. The ideas are to making use of the nature element to create potential meditation environment. I started to develope ideas about installation that has interation with nature elements.

Stop:

After getting feedbacks from Amanda, I decided to stop depending too much on the nature assets and focusing more on the functioning of the 'device' that I designed for her. 

Keep: 

I made a prototype of the mood capture remote with simple interface of 3 buttons: recording, playing and menu. This devide allows user to record different nature mooment that make them feel meditating the most (eg. raining sound, sunny spring with breeze...) then can it can project to any surface to create the mood for the user or to demonstrate and helping them cope with mental difficulties. 

Context:

Museum of the Moon - two of my ideas were inspired by this global exhibition. The first one was to create an installation where people in different angles can experiences different types of calming, soul shoothing nature simulations. The second one was where one person is situated in a close space that filled with sounds, lights, air that simulate different type of calming environments in a certain amount of time.

 Pleasure Garden - Another idea was an installation where you can walk among the green space. Everytime you interact with the leaves, flowers, ect..., the interaction will create different sounds using this device: Midisprout.
