IOL_week 1_choose your illusion_Yiran Pan

When I look at my old work and my reference work again, I found some point I have used but did not deeply thinking. So in this course, I starting with these points.

Shadow and overturn was an interesting combination, I could find lots of productions using them and show a excellent visual effect. They also could play with negative shape and dynamic motion, so I want try to research this topics.

Motion was a intuitive way to show emotion and create some visual effects, also sometimes it could give character personality.  

In one of my own work, I play with the huge shadow and small object. I was using the “overturn” between shadow and the real object to create the contrast.

the motion of shadow was slowly and reposeful, kid’s motion was quick and agile. And these actions show their emotion and roles in this story. They are catcher and prey.

In this work, I was more focusing on line and some basic motion. Fixed the camera, and make character do some simple motion. This way can’t create a dynamic visual effect, but could show more details and micro motion.
