Aim
Since the idea of ‘Visual Music’ doesn’t quite relate to my studio project, I did this simple short animation just as an experiment to visualise sound. The sound I found was originated from two young saltwater crocodiles calling.

Result
So I created this 10s short loop in which the animation looks like a kid’s drawing exaggerating and changing shapes, following the simple rhythm of the sound.
Discussion
Basically, the outcome is as straightforward as the original sound, however, I did notice that adding ease in/out effect to the objects when animating exaggerated shapes would make the visual image more interesting, responding to the echo of the sound.
