In the second week of class exercises, I created 3 loop animations using Toon Boom. I wanted to find a particular way of transitions. The first one was a gif from the internet that I recreated into an animated version. The second one is the sun and the clouds dancing. The clouds don’t have a fixed shape so they will turn into a tornado during the dance. The third is a seal hunting penguins, where the movement of the seal and the penguin is arranged by me as ∞, and the two animals also transform their identities at the point where they are about to intersect.
This exercise has helped me a lot in studio 2, where I will have many different scenes in s2, which will help me to switch between scenes more fluidly.
