The occasional glimmer of distant stars to create an atmosphere of stillness. This class exercise became a starting point for the title sequence. I was really happy with the way the occasional sparkling star gave a sense of calm.
Start
- Thinking of small features, like just making the stars sparkle, that can be expanded upon.
Stop
- Stopping when it just works, keep experimenting with taking movement too far and then bring it back.
Keep
- Focussing on goals of the experience to help novice meditators learn to turn attention inwards and focus on bodily sensations of pain.
